Research Hub

Welcome to our International Research Hub, which is an online space to read and discuss research with an infant feeding focus! It is open to all IBCLCs, those training to become IBCLCs, breastfeeding counsellors. lay professionals, HCPs and anybody genuinely interested in breastfeeding and human lactation research from all over the world.

You do not need to be an academic to join, but you need to have some curiosity about research methods and critical appraisal.

What platform?

We will use ZOOM for our online meetings. Please complete this form to register your attendance and you will be sent a ZOOM link. Please register your attendance for EACH session using the link above. If you do not receive the zoom link after completing the form please email: info@thecber.org

How to prepare?

We ask that you read the article prior to joining this session.

We will start by asking each participant to share one general thought/impression/response about what the the article made you think or feel (1-2 minutes).

We will have an open informal group discussion after. We will sometimes do some critical appraisal together.

We will conclude by summarising key takeaways which we can take into our clinical or research practice.

We meet for one hour over lunch 12.00-13.00 GMT (London, UK) time on the first Wednesday of every month, next sessions for 2025:
